‘Earnhardt’ docuseries gets premiere date on Amazon Prime Video
April 26, 2025
This spring, Earnhardt will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The docuseries will give a look at Dale Earnhardt fans have never seen before. NASCAR fans are going to want to tune in on May 22.
The four-part series will get two release dates. On May 22, the first two episodes of Earnhardt will drop on Amazon Prime Video. A week later on May 29, the final two episodes will premiere.
With the May 22 debut, fans can take in the docuseries the same weekend of the Coca-Cola 600. The biggest weekend in motorsports just somehow got even bigger with this news.
Of course, the docuseries will be focused on Dale Sr. and his life on and off the track. With Imagine Documentaries, NASCAR Studios and Everyone Else, in association with Dirrty Mo Media, this is a massive project.
Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are behind the creation of the series. That should excite fans who have taken in other work by the duo in recent years.
It appears that we will get comments from Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kelley Earnhardt-Miller, and many others in The Intimidator’s life. There is also a promise of rare footage of the man himself. It is going to be a must-watch for any NASCAR or racing fan.

Soon, we are going to see NASCAR on Prime Video, and that means Dale Earnhardt Jr. back in the booth. But wait, there’s more. Amazon has tapped music legends John Fogerty and Eric Church to “reimagine” the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic, “Up Around the Bend.”
This new version of a classic song will serve as the anthem for NASCAR on Prime Video. There are five races this spring and summer to watch on the streaming platform. It all starts in Charlotte with the Coca-Cola 600.
Not only do we get the new song and all the hype that comes with this new broadcast partner, but Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be back in the booth. Watch Dale and Steve Letarte rip through the iconic venues Prime Video will take fans to later this season.
Earnhardt, Letarte, Chase Elliott, and a sweet soundtrack for it all. NASCAR on Prime Video.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. was missed in the NBC booth last season. Fans definitely noticed his absence. This year, fans get him for 10 races. He will do both the Prime Video and TNT Sports broadcasts. Great news for fans!
