Kenan Thompson, Kevin Hart to Host New Prime Video Series ‘Good Sports’
November 14, 2025
SNL star Kenan Thompson is expanding his onscreen partnership with Kevin Hart in Good Sports, a weekly sports-comedy hybrid set to launch Nov. 25 on Prime Video. The streamer has ordered 12 episodes of the weekly series, which will release Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
Thompson and Hart have previously collaborated on a series of New Year’s specials and on an 2024 Summer Olympics highlights show for Peacock.
Billed as a comedic spin on the traditional sports-talk format, Good Sports will see the duo break down major headlines across the NFL, NBA and beyond, while also spotlighting the kinds of neighborhood-level rivalries and youth-league theatrics that typically fall outside the purview of mainstream sports media. Prime Video says the hosts will bring their “unfiltered energy” to each installment, pairing sports analysis with the improvisational comedy both are known for.
“Doing the Olympics with Kevin was wild, but this? This is next-level,” Thompson said in a statment. “Good Sports is us just being ourselves—cracking jokes and probably pulling muscles we didn’t know we had. It’s gonna be a good time!!”
Good Sports is produced by Hartbeat and Artists for Artists. Executive producers include Hart, Jeff Clanagan, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Meghan Hoffman, Mike Stein and JC Del Barco II for Hartbeat, with Thompson and Johnny Ryan Jr. executive producing for Artists for Artists. David Nickoll and Colton Dunn also serve as executive producers, with Michelle Mastellone producing.
Thompson, of course, is the longest tenured cast member of Saturday Night Live, having joined the show in 2003. His recent work outside SNL includes 2023’s Good Burger 2 and his sitcom Kenan, which aired on NBC from 2021-2023.
