Recently, the company has raised €3.8 million in growth capital, primarily from lead investor Move Energy, with additional contributions from Rise PropTech and existing investor Peak. This funding round was oversubscribed, indicating strong investor interest and confidence, and it follows a previous investment of €1.7 million led by Peak in July 2024.

The new funding will be strategically aimed at bolstering OpusFlow’s initiatives in its current markets, which include the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, and the UK, while also facilitating further international expansion.

Founded in late 2022 by entrepreneurs Diego Smits and Joey Teunissen, OpusFlow has demonstrated remarkable growth, rapidly developing a team of nearly 40 skilled employees. The platform serves as a comprehensive solution that integrates all essential processes for installers working with solar panels, heat pumps, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, solar water heaters, and various related systems.

Some of the key functionalities include managing quotations, coordinating team schedules, overseeing inventory, streamlining sales operations, and handling invoicing processes. By harnessing advanced automation technologies, OpusFlow significantly reduces administrative project time—cutting it from an average of 7.5 hours to just 1.5 hours—thus enabling installers to focus more on actual installations rather than administrative tasks.

One of OpusFlow’s most significant competitive advantages is its modular design. This feature enables users to integrate various business functions—such as quoting, cost calculation, customer portals, scheduling, inventory management, and procurement—via easily accessible plugins or modules. As a cloud-based platform, OpusFlow is not only user-friendly but also visually intuitive, ensuring that employees of various technical backgrounds can navigate the system with ease. Additionally, OpusFlow prioritizes a transparent pricing strategy, offering a single flat fee per user that grants complete access to all available modules without any hidden costs, thus simplifying budgeting for its customers.

The €3.8 million funding will primarily be allocated towards advancing the OpusFlow platform. Plans include integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities and developing new modules to cater to additional renewable energy solutions, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), wind energy, and comprehensive EV charging infrastructure. These developments are designed to empower installers, allowing them to offer an even broader array of renewable energy installations in the markets where OpusFlow currently operates.

As part of a strategic growth plan, the company is actively enhancing its international expansion efforts across Europe. This involves not only broadening the geographical reach of its services but also expanding its team by hiring specialists in key areas such as product development, sales, and customer support.
