If true crime and stories based on sensational real-life news are what you crave, you’re in luck: This week’s new drops on all the major streaming platforms feature plenty of BOATS content. (That’s “based on a true story” for the uninitiated.)  On Hulu, you can catch Good American Family, a dramatization of the Natalia Grace case, and on Max, you can familiarize yourself with the polarizing story of Karen Read, a woman on trial for allegedly killing her boyfriend, in A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read.

Meanwhile, on Netflix you can catch the new mystery series The Residence, starring Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduma, and the new South Korean psychological thriller Revelations, from the creators of the supernatural fantasy series Hellbound.
