Amazon Echo gadgets and Firesticks slashed to lowest price since Black Friday
February 7, 2025
Amazon’s own brand of tech is widely popular, with the likes of the Alexa-enabled smart speakers and Fire TV sticks held in high regard in the reviews left on the retail giant’s site. Whether it’s to introduce music into a new room in the household or make streaming content to your telly a breeze, its gadgets are usually always a worthwhile investment – and they just got a lot cheaper.
Amazon usually waits until its prestigious Prime Day sales to drop the prices of its gadgets, but it’s just sprung a surprise flash sale on many of its Alexa-enabled devices. Most of the popular products are included, with a few more niche additions like 4K TVs and its Fire Tablets also thrown into the mix.
I’ve scoured through the sale to find the very best of the bunch, helping you to save on your next smart home upgrade. Check them all out below:
Echo Pop – was £44.99, now £22.99 (49% saving)
The Echo Pop is one of Amazon’s cheapest speakers with it forgoing the screen that’s included on the more premium Spot models. Not that a screen is entirely necessary – the Pop is fully Alexa enabled, meaning you can ask it questions and control other smart home accessories with it.
The sound quality is pretty impressive for such a small device too, easily filling a small room with your favourite tunes. It usually costs £44.99 but it’s currently almost 50% off at £22.99.
Echo Spot – was £79.99, now £59.99 (25% saving)
For an upgrade on the traditional Echo speaker design, you could go for the Echo Spot which is similar to the Pop but includes that display I mentioned. Taking up the top half of the unit, it’s capable of constantly displaying the time while also showing pertinent information like the weather or the current music track.
The screen is definitely a luxury, but it’s an ideal addition if you want to use the Spot as a bedside alarm clock. The sound quality is also slightly boosted over the Pop, making it a desirable upgrade at the new price of £59.99.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K – was £59.99, now £39.99 (33% saving)
Ah, the trusty Fire TV Stick 4K. One of Amazon’s best selling gadgets is capable of turning any old TV into a smart one in a super compact package.
This model is capable for streaming ultra HD content, so it’s the one to go for if you’ve already invested in a decent TV. After all, if you’ve spent all that money on a TV capable of displaying HDR and Dolby Vision content, you need a stick that can match that.
This model of Fire Stick normally costs £59.99, but it’s currently down to £39.99. That’s a 33% saving.
Amazon Fire TV Stick HD – was £39.99, now £29.99 (25% saving)
While the 4K version of the Fire TV stick is recommended for those with a 4K telly, the standard HD version is ideal for those rocking a slightly older model of TV. If streaming high resolution content isn’t a priority, then the HD version will suit you just fine.
It’s exactly the same as the more expensive model in almost every way, except it’s processor is slightly less powerful as lower resolution content doesn’t take as much horsepower. It means it’s cheaper too, costing £29.99 instead of £39.99 – a 25% saving.
Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet – was £149.99, now £104.99 (30% saving)
Amazon has a great range of budget tablets, and its HD 10 model just got a whole lot cheaper in this most recent sale. With 32GB of RAM and an octa-core processor, it’s more than powerful enough for web browsing, reading and catching up with your favourite shows.
You’ll need to put up with adverts that pop up on the lock screen for this price, but for the lower £104.99 cost, it’s a worthwhile trade off. It’s certainly better than paying the full £149.99 cost, too.
Echo Show 8 – was £149.99, now £99.99 (33% saving)
Taking the Echo speakers up to the next level, the Show 8 embeds a fully-fledged smart screen display into a powerful speaker. It comes equipped with a webcam, letting you take video calls right from the kitchen counter.
The kitchen is an ideal spot for this device, with it doubling as a digital photo frame if you upload your favourite snaps to it. It’s usual price is quite costly at £149.99, but this current flash sale brings it down to £99.99 which is much more agreeable.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max – was £69.99, now £49.99 (29% saving)
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the absolute best streaming stick the tech giant offers, building on the capabilities of the standard 4K model. It’s intended for absolute power users with it capable of connecting to WiFi 6E networks for the absolute fastest streaming speeds to reduce buffering.
It also has double the internal storage for if those that like to play videos from local storage. Amazon also debuts its Fire TV Ambient Experience mode here, which turns your normal TV into an Alexa-powered smart display when not in use.
This is the most expensive Fire TV stick on the roster, normally costing £69.99. However, this current flash sale drops the price down to £49.99 for a limited time.
Amazon Fire TV 32-inch 2-Series – was £249.99, now £149.99 (40% saving)
Did you know that Amazon does its own range of TVs? Now you do – and this 32-inch model is currently reduced down to £149.99. As far as modern standards go, I wouldn’t recommend this as a main display for the living room as its size is quite modest and it’s only capable of displaying 720p content – most streamers don’t even consider that HD.
However, with Amazon Fire Stick functionality built in, it’s ready to stream content out of the box and would make a fantastic addition as a secondary TV in a bedroom or kitchen. Normally costing £249.99, it’s currently 40% off.
Amazon Fire TV 43″ 4-Series 4K UHD smart TV – was £429.99, now £229.99 (47% saving)
A much more attractive TV offer is Amazon’s 4-series UHD Smart TV, which is currently available for £229.99. Its size is perfect for most living rooms thanks to its 43″ size, and more importantly it’s capable of displaying a full 4K image.
Again, this model comes fully equipped with Fire TV stick functionality, so it’s ready to stream your favourite shows from the moment you set it up. There’s a huge saving available right now, too – normally costing £429.99, the 47% off takes the price down to £229.99.
Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni QLED series 4K – was £549.99, now £319.99 (42% saving)
The most expensive item on this list also brings the biggest saving, with the Omni QLED smart TV currently showing a huge £230 off the RRP. This model is largely similar to the 4- series TV I just mentioned, but the screen gets a huge upgrade from LED to QLED.
That means it’s capable of getting much brighter with far more vivid colours. If you care about how your content looks, this is the model to go for if you can afford it.
Like all other TVs on this list, it comes with the Fire TV stick operating system built in, so there’s no need to shell out for an additional stick. At £319.99, it’s a relatively cheap price for a TV of this calibre.
