According to Cointelegraph on the 25th (local time), global cryptocurrency exchange Bybit stated, “Bybit’s analysts expect the price of Ethereum to reach $4000 before January 20th.” On January 20th, the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled. As of 11:10 AM on the 26th, Ethereum is trading at around $3460 on CoinMarketCap.

Optimism for Ethereum has been steadily raised since last month. The resignation announcement by Gary Gensler, who led the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the Biden administration, has had a significant impact. As a result, the price of Ripple (XRP) has also shown a sharp rise recently.

There are also forecasts that the price of Ethereum could exceed $5000 next year.
