NOW, WE HAVE SEEN THAT GESTURE A LOT BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE COMING TO CERTAINLY PAY THEIR RESPECTS TO FORMER PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER ALL OVER THE WEEKEND. OVERNIGHT, HOURS INTO THE MORNING. THAT HAS BEEN THE CASE. NOW, WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT THE LEGACY OF PRESIDENT CARTER, IT IS ONE THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED IN A MORE FAVORABLE LIGHT. NOW, CERTAINLY, HUMANITARIAN IS SOMETHING THAT HE POURED A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT INTO. ALSO SHARING HIS FAITH WITH THE PUBLIC, THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE COME OUT TO VIEW THE CASKET OF PRESIDENT CARTER, SOME OF THEM ARE LEAVING OUT WITH SAD FACES, BUT THEY’RE ALSO LEAVING OUT WITH THE PRINTOUT THAT HAS A PICTURE OF PRESIDENT CARTER, HIS BIRTH AND DEATH YEARS PRINTED ON IT AS WELL. ALTHOUGH THE FORMER PRESIDENT IS NO LONGER HERE, THAT DOES NOT MEAN HIS HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS WILL STOP. PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD KNOW WHAT HE STANDS FOR, AND THAT’S WHAT WE STAND FOR. WHETHER THAT’S ABOUT PEACE BUILDING OR HUMAN RIGHTS OR CONFLICT RESOLUTION, WOMEN’S RIGHTS ERADICATION, ELIMINATION OF DISEASE, WE WILL CONTINUE THAT AND WE WILL CONTINUE IT IN HIS NAME. NOW, THE PUBLIC VIEWING OF PRESIDENT CARTER’S CASKET OPENED ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. IT HAS BEEN A 24 HOUR PROCESS. SO THROUGH THESE OVERNIGHT EARLY MORNING HOURS, PEOPLE ARE COMING IN. THE BUSSES ARE ROLLING IN RIGHT NOW, ONE AFTER ANOTHER. WHAT’S INTERESTING ABOUT IT? THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMING OUT FOR THE VIEWING, THEY CAN’T PARK HERE ON THE GROUNDS. THEY HAVE TO PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BE BUSED IN BY MARTA, WHICH IS THE ATLANTA TRANSPORTATION THAT THEY USE HERE IN THE AREA. NOW, THE BODY WILL BE DEPARTING HERE.
