January 2, 2025
Few names carry as much weight in Atlanta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem as Sig Mosley.
A graduate of Emory University, Mosley served as Vice President of MSA, one of the “OG” tech companies in Atlanta’s startup scene before joining Imlay Investments and serving as the organization’s chairman.
Along the way, he built up a reputation as a prolific angel investor, earning the nickname as Atlanta’s “Godfather of Angel Investing” with his career spanning decades and boasting a portfolio of over 140 investments. He was inducted into theTechnology Hall of Fame of Georgia for his contributions to the state’s tech ecosystem and was a founding member of the Atlanta Technology Angels (ATA).
Mosley’s impact on the Atlanta startup scene was celebrated last month in Buckhead during a surprise gathering of community leaders. During the celebration, which was brought together by Zane Venture Fund, Mosley was also given honorary lifetime membership by Venture Atlanta, one of the Southeast’s top investor conferences.
