Gen-Z is exhausted from watching leaders turn a blind eye to the climate crisis we’re living through. As extreme weather events become more frequent and severe, like what we saw with Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, the reliability of our electrical grid is increasingly compromised. New Jerseyans have first-hand experienced the grid’s unreliability with Hurricane Sandy, knocking out power for millions.

Gov. Phil Murphy has set a goal of generating 11 gigawatts of offshore wind (OSW) and 100% clean energy by 2035, positioning New Jersey to lead the East Coast in OSW and revitalize coastal communities and economies.
