The Texas man facing felony charges for stalking WNBA star Caitlin Clark could not stop talking during his initial hearing at an Indianapolis courthouse. Immediately after Judge Angela Davis told him “good morning,” Michael Lewis, 55, leaned back in his seat and said “guilty as charged.” She later admonished him after he told the court to “throw me the booky.” At one point, Lewis tried to point out that the court documents did not list the “junior” suffix in his name. “I’m free,” he blurted out. “Guess you got the wrong guy.” Lewis was arrested at an Indianapolis hotel on Sunday after he continued to send Clark threatening messages on social media—even after police gave him a warning, local station Fox 59 reported. The court entered a not guilty plea for Lewis, who was represented by a public defender. He was ordered to stay away from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where the Indianapolis Fever play, as well as Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse, where Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery works as an assistant coach. A tourist said he was taking selfies when a plane skidded off a runway and almost hit him. Rogério Prado was strolling down a beach last week in Ubatuba, in São Paulo, Brazil, when he clocked the aircraft coming into shot as he worked on his selfie game. When he could speak during his opening statement, Hegseth vowed to return a “warrior culture” to the Department of Defense.
