In a major reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government on Sunday (February 9, 2025) posted new secretaries to 15 of its key departments and new Collectors for Coimbatore and Theni districts.

P. Senthil Kumar has been posted as the Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department and Supriya Sahu has been posted as the Secretary of Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department.

J. Radhakrishnan is set to take over as the Chairman and Managing Director of TANGEDCO and as Chairman of Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation Limited.

J. Jayakanthan has been posted as Secretary of Public Works Department. Mangat Ram Sharma is posted as Secretary of Water Resources Department. B. Chandramohan is posted as Secretary of School Education Department and C. Samayamoorthy as Secretary of Higher Education Department. Sajjansingh R. Chavan has been posted as Special Secretary in the Public Department.

G. Prakash is posted as the Secretary of Human Resources Management Department, while K. Gopal would be the new Secretary of Special Initiatives Department. K. Manivasan is posted as the Secretary of Tourism, Culture and Endowments Department and Satyabrata Sahoo as the Secretary of Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.

Kumar Jayant is posted as Secretary of Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, while Brajendra Navnit, the incumbent, is posted as the Secretary of Information Technology and Digital Services Department. N. Subbaiyan is posted as the Secretary of Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department. S. Madhumathi would be the new Secretary of Welfare of Differently-Abled Persons.

Pavankumar G. Giriyappavanar is posted as Coimbatore Collector and Ranjeet Singh as Theni Collector. Har Sahay Meena is posted as the Commissioner of Archives and K. Nanthakumar is posted as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

T.N. Venkatesh would assume office as the Chairman and Managing Director, Poompuhar Shipping Corporation Limited. Maheswari Ravikumar is posted as the Director of Textiles. A. Annadurai would assume office as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited. S. Vineet is posted as the Mission Director, National Health Mission in Tamil Nadu and as Joint Secretary in Health and Family Welfare Department.

V. Kalaiarasi has been posted as the Special Secretary in Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department, while S. Suresh Kumar is posted as the Commissioner, Backward Classes Welfare. T. Abraham is posted as Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business.

Kiran Gurrala is set to take over as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, while Alby John Varghese would assume office as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation Limited.

S. Prabhakar would take over as the Member Secretary of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority and Anshul Mishra would assume office as the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board. Kranti Kumar Pati would take over as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.

R.V. Shajeevana is posted as the Additional Secretary in Special Programmes Implementation Department. V.S. Narayana Sarma has been posted as the Additional Collector (Development) in Chengalpattu, while Sanket Balwant Waghe, N. Ponmani, A. Catherine Saranya and Arpit Jain are posted in the same post in Coimbatore, Salem, Dharmapuri and Erode respectively.
