USDA awards renewable energy grants to 29 Northwest projects

The Pacific Northwest received $6.67 million from the USDA Rural Energy for America Program for renewable and energy efficiency projects.

Idaho had three projects awarded more than $2.5 million, Oregon had seven projects for nearly $2.1 million and Washington had 19 projects for almost $2.1 million.
