The Center for Energy Education will host a renewable energy workshop in Terre Haute from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Vigo County Library, 680 Poplar St.
The workshop will focus on utility-scale solar projects to inform community members about how solar energy works, its current and future roles in Indiana’s energy mix and the potential impacts and opportunities it can generate.
The center will welcome an industry expert who will outline the role of renewables as it continues to evolve and diversify. The discussion will touch on the current and future status of solar in Indiana – including renewable energy investments and opportunities to promote economic growth and mitigate climate change – as well as other topics that come with questions and misconceptions.
The Center for Energy Education (C4EE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since 2015, the organization has grown to support communities where solar projects are located or being developed. For more information visit, https://center4ee.org/
