CCSO said that there was an odor of cannabis coming from a locker, prompting a search by a school administrator. The administrator located a bookbag within the locker that belonged to the 14-year-old and had the cannabis inside.
The 14-year-old was charged with a juvenile civil citation and also faces disciplinary action from the school.
Just last week, another student was charged with a civil citation for also bringing cannabis on school grounds.
