ON FRIDAY, GROVE TOOK THE STAND, ULTIMATELY SAYING THAT THE ACTIONS THAT KILLED HIS FRIEND KANE HYLAND WAS, QUOTE, PROBABLY THE DUMBEST DECISION I’VE MADE IN MY LIFE. GROVE ALSO ADMITTED TO LYING TO POLICE ABOUT HIS WHEREABOUTS DURING THE SHOOTING. GROVE IS CHARGED AS AN ADULT WITH THIRD DEGREE MURDER. THE TRIAL IS EXPECTED TO RESUME AT NINE THIS MORNING AT THE YORK COUNTY COURTHOUSE. LEBANON POLICE SAY A MAN WAS SHOT ON SOUTH 10TH STREET. POLICE SAY THIS HAPPENED AT A 130 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON ON SOUTH 10TH STREET. THEY SAY THE MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. ACCORDING TO POLICE, A SUSPECT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, BUT THEY HAVEN’T RELEASED THE PERSON’S NAME. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE SUSPECT AND THE MAN KNEW EACH OTHER. RIGHT NOW, A LANE RESTRICTION IS IN PLACE ON 322 IN DAUPHIN COUNTY OR WAS IN PLACE EARLIER THIS MORNING. THIS IS WAS IN THE WESTBOUND LANES NEAR THE MOUNTAIN ROAD EXIT IN MIDDLE PAXTON TOWNSHIP. PENNDOT TOLD US CREWS WERE WORKING TO REMOVE A TRACTOR TRAILER FROM THE ROAD IN YORK COUNTY. A BRIDGE CREW WILL BE OUT SURVEYING THE DAMAGE THIS MORNING AFTER A TRACTOR TRAILER WAS HANGING OFF THE BRIDGE. YESTERDAY. LOOK AT THIS VIDEO. PENNDOT SAYS THE CRASH HAPPENED JUST AFTER SIX, WHERE 83 GOES OVER TOP OF RAILROAD TRACKS, AND THAT TRUCK WAS JUST DANGLING FROM THERE. Amazon is set to invest billions of dollars in AI infrastructure in Pennsylvania, according to Gov. Josh Shapiro.Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8.Shapiro made the announcement Monday morning at an event in Berwick, Pa.“Pennsylvania is competing again – and I’m proud to announce that with Amazon’s commitment of at least $20 billion to build new state-of-the-art data center campuses across our Commonwealth, we have secured the largest private sector investment in the history of Pennsylvania,” Shapiro said in a statement. Shapiro said the initial investment from Amazon will create thousands of good-paying, stable jobs. The first two data center campuses will be built in Luzerne and Bucks counties.”Our team worked closely with local leaders and Amazon to land this deal, and we continue to be actively engaged on securing additional sites in Pennsylvania – helping them secure local support, developing the infrastructure needed to support more data centers, and ensuring our permitting processes move quickly and efficiently,” Shapiro said. David Zapolosky, Amazon’s chief global affairs and legal officer, said the investment in Pennsylvania reinforces the company’s dedication to advancing AI while creating economic opportunities in the commonwealth.”By expanding our cloud computing infrastructure, we’re investing in Pennsylvania’s future through new jobs, workforce development programs, and community initiatives. We look forward to helping drive the next generation of technology innovation, while delivering meaningful benefits for Pennsylvania residents,” he said.According to the governor’s office, Amazon has invested more than $26 billion in Pennsylvania since 2010. That figure includes infrastructure and compensation to employees.The new data centers join a growing Amazon operation across Pennsylvania that now includes 23 fulfillment and sortation centers, and 20 last-mile delivery stations.
