–Amazon is exploring a virtual shopping assistant and a new chatbot with a health focus to select users on its platform, according to a CNBC report.

–The company is beta-testing the new services, which have appeared for certain users on the company’s app and website. The new artificial-intelligence assistants were confirmed to CNBC by a company spokesperson.

–AI on Amazon’s platform isn’t new, CNBC reported, as the company has already launched a shopping chatbot, AI shopping guides for consumers and an AI assistant for sellers.
