Lauren Sanchez has given fans a rare glimpse at her writing center inside her and Jeff Bezos’ $165 million Los Angeles abode. 

The 55-year-old former journalist took to Instagram to show off where her “words come to life” following the release of her children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew,” which hit shelves in 2024.

Her writing nook, which includes a white desk with a pink countertop and light pink chair, sat in front of an expansive window that looked out onto the lush landscaping.

Lauren—who is set to tie the knot to Bezos, 61, in June in Venice, Italy—captioned the clip, “A little peek into the space where my words come to life. Everyone’s writing process is unique … there’s no right or wrong, just whatever works for you. I’d love to hear about yours.”

The video revealed to her 930,000-plus Instagram followers that her unique personality is present in her creativity room.

The walls were painted a royal blue and adorned with photos of Sanchez and her loved ones.

“I’m taking you to where I write almost every day,” she said in the video. “When I was a reporter in a newsroom, it was just packed with people, and you had to write with all this commotion going on, and I got really used to it and I love it, and sometimes I do go somewhere like a coffee shop to write.

“But I’ve had a little writer’s block with the second book, and I noticed that if I have a really calm, peaceful place, that I’m able to let all my ideas float through me easier than I could in a group. So, I’m really curious. I think everyone writes differently, whether you’re writing an Instagram post or you’re writing a children’s book, or you’re writing a novel, a document for work. … What’s your process to write?”

Shots of the room revealed that the dresser countertop matched the blue ceiling.

Bezos dropped a record $165 million for David Geffen’s Los Angeles mansion in 2020, the Wall Street Journal reported. Known as the Warner Estate, the 9-acre spread was built for Jack Warner, the late former president of Warner Bros.

The parcel features “expansive terraces, sprawling gardens, several guest houses, a tennis court and its own nine-hole golf course,” according to the Journal.

Sanchez’s reveal of her writing center comes after it was revealed that she and Bezos would be saying “I do” in Italy.

Luca Zuin, a spokesperson for the mayor of Venice, revealed to CNN that the wedding will be held aboard Bezos’ 417-foot yacht, Koru, which will be anchored in the Venice lagoon. It is too large to make the trip down the city’s historic Grand Canal.

News of the couple’s chosen venue initially sparked concern among locals over the potential impact of such a large-scale event. Rumors initially circulated that hundreds, or even thousands, of guests could descend upon the tourist hot spot.

However, the municipality addressed those concerns head-on, shutting down any and all suggestions that the floating city might struggle to host such a star-studded affair.

“The many speculations and fake news circulating about Jeff Bezos’ wedding are completely unfounded,” the statement read.

“Only 200 guests will have been invited and therefore it will be easy for Venice to accommodate such an event, without any disruption whatsoever to the city, its residents and visitors.

“The [organizers] have categorically not booked large amounts of gondolas or excessive numbers of water taxis and it is their utmost priority to make sure the city functions as normal, for all, with no abnormal disruption to anyone.”

It was then reported that Mayor Luigi Brugnaro and the municipality are “mutually working and supporting the organizers to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city.”

According to People magazine, the guest list will include Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Karlie Kloss, Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner, as well as members of Sanchez’s all-female Blue Origin Space crew Katy Perry and Gayle King.

Sanchez has reportedly purchased a wedding dress by A-list designer Oscar de la Renta, whose white gowns are priced starting at $9,000 and have been worn by Naomi Watts and George Clooney’s wife, Amal.
