He was nominated for the show in the same category the following year. Waltke also served as showrunner on the spinoff series “Wizards: Tales of Arcadia,” which was nominated for the Daytime Emmy for best animated series and won the Kidscreen Award for best new series. The official logline of the show states that it “tells the tales of seven dragon tribes who have been at war for generations over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy — a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice. Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.”

Resteghini was previously the head of series development at Amazon MGM Studios (then Amazon Studios), but left the company in 2022 amid restructuring. He first joined Amazon in 2014 and developed and launched shows like “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Jack Ryan,” and “The Underground Railroad” during his tenure. He recently executive produced the upcoming Amazon series “Young Sherlock” and is developing “The Girl in the Lake” with Scarlett Johansson at United Artists.
