City of Birmingham investing $15 million in street paving

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Several roads across Birmingham will soon get a facelift.
The city says parts of 248 streets will be paved as part of Birmingham’s $15 million resurfacing plan.
Bidding will take place soon and construction is expected to begin later in this summer.
In the last three years, nearly $45 million has been budgeted for street paving.
