Letter in response to Pataki’s “No place for big solar on prime Adirondack farmlands” –

By Rebekah Pierce, local farmer/freelance writer I’m writing this letter in response to George Pataki’s contribution on May 4, 2025, in which he lambasted plans for what he refers to as “utility-scale solar” installations within the boundaries of Adirondack Park. I am a freelance writer specializing in agriculture and food. I am also a farmer.
