The Bondsman Cancelled After One Season at Prime Video

May 16, 2025

The Bondsmans resurrection was short-lived, it turns out: Prime Video has cancelled the Kevin Bacon-led supernatural series after one season, our sister site Deadline reports.

Bacon starred as Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter who was murdered on the job and then was brought back to life so he could hunt down demons who have escaped hell and bring them back to the fiery depths. Season 1 debuted on Prime Video on April 3 with all eight episodes.

The series from Blumhouse Television was created by Grainger David, with Erik Oleson (ArrowCarnival Row) serving as showrunner. The supporting cast includes Jolene Purdy (The White Lotus), Beth Grant (The Mindy Project), Jennifer Nettles (The Righteous Gemstones), Maxwell Jenkins (Lost in Space) and Damon Herriman (Justified).
