Meanwhile, his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, was having a star-studded blowout in Paris with guests like Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, and Eva Longoria. Two celebrations are taking place 1,200 kilometers apart, demonstrating that this couple is embracing every wedding cliché—on a grand scale.

Jeff Bezos’ Night Out in Madrid

Last Saturday, diners at Ten con Ten, a trendy spot in Madrid’s Salamanca neighborhood, were taken aback when they spotted Bezos at one of the tables. Relaxed, smiling, and surrounded by friends, the billionaire enjoyed some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, including semolina risotto with truffle, morels in foie cream, and roasted Galician octopus.

The night continued at the exclusive Gunilla Club, where, according to El Mundo, the world’s third-richest man (with a fortune of over $195 billion) enjoyed the vibe, the music, and a few drinks in a laid-back setting. It was a low-key bachelor party, but with a premium touch, perfectly in line with the discreet—yet curious—persona Bezos has shown on his recent trips to Spain. In fact, the occasion was his second visit in just three months; back in March, he stopped by Capas Seseña, Madrid’s iconic cape shop, and left with a custom-made piece of his own.

Lauren Sánchez’s Paris Bachelorette… With a Bonus

Meanwhile, Sánchez was living out a Hollywood-style bachelorette party in Paris. The journalist and businesswoman gathered her closest friends—including Kim Kardashian, Jenner, Perry, Lydia Kives, and Longoria—for a weekend full of celebrations. The itinerary? The itinerary includes lunches at L’Avenue, elegant dinners at Lafayette, and a private sunset cruise down the Seine.

Dressed in haute couture—from Oscar de la Renta and Louis Vuitton to Judith Leiber—the guests shared their most fun and touching moments on social media. “Eternity begins with friendship,” Lauren wrote alongside a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower, surrounded by her friends.

The perfect ending came on Monday in Cannes, where Sánchez received the Women Empowerment Award at the Global Gift Gala, hosted by Longoria. The award recognized her social impact work through the Bezos Earth Fund and This Is About Humanity.

The Countdown to a Historic Wedding

The couple will tie the knot in Venice from June 24 to 26, after going public with their relationship in 2019 and getting engaged in 2023. The main ceremony will be held on the private island of San Giorgio Maggiore.

Around 200 high-profile guests are expected to attend, including Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Anna Wintour, Barbra Streisand, Bill Gates, and many more personalities. The three-day celebration—set to take place aboard their $500 million superyacht, Koru—is shaping up to be the social event of the year. Reportedly, the couple has asked guests to donate to charity instead of bringing gifts.
