Prime Day 2025 Dates Just Dropped, but Deals on Some of Our Favorite Outdoor Gear Are Alre
June 17, 2025
- Announced this morning, Amazon Prime Day will take place from Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11.
- This is the longest Prime Day ever, with Amazon effectively doubling its typical sale period.
- We’re seeing early deals on outdoor equipment ranging from Yeti coolers to camp chairs to portable grills.
Prime Day is one of the more anticipated online savings events of not only the summer, but the entire year. This morning, Amazon pulled the curtain back on its 2025 dates, and this year’s Prime Day is officially slated for July 8-11—a full four days of discounts compared to the usual two.
The online retailer does appear to be ramping up some of its deals ahead of the big event, though, with early Prime Day outdoor gear deals, for example. This category, in particular, seems to be benefiting from early-season price cuts, with editor-tested camping gear, smokeless fire pits, and coolers nearly 50 percent off.
With a full four days of sales, things could get a bit overwhelming, and in a Prime Day sea of deals, you might find it difficult to nab some of the stuff you already know you want. In this case, there’s no harm in carting some of these early sales that may or may not get better over time. We know the fickle nature of Amazon sales, so we might not see the same sales when the clock strikes midnight on June 8. You don’t want to miss out, either way.
As such, I went through some of the outdoor deals that caught my eye, but, as always, feel free to canvass the entire sale through the link below.

There are plenty of early deals to be had here, particularly on editor-tested gear. And if you couldn’t tell by now, we’re huge fans of Yeti gear at PopMech, and there are quite a few products discounted by Amazon. The Yeti Roadie Cooler is currently 20 percent off, while the Yeti Rambler Beverage Bucket, a party favorite, is also discounted by 20 percent and $30 off. If you’re looking for something a little more portable for work, school, or a nice hike, the 18-ounce Yeti Rambler is also 20 percent off. Yeti products don’t go on sale all that often—these are the best savings we’ve seen since Memorial Day weekend.
For those looking to enhance their outdoor cookout setup, the Ninja Woodfire Pizza Oven is also 25 percent off. Now under $300 for a limited time, you can create authentic, wood-fired ’za from the comfort of your backyard. This one, in particular, is an excellent option for those with limited outdoor space. It’s compact enough to be used on a small table, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in versatility. Its eight modes include Pizza, Max Roast, Specialty Roast, Broil, Bake, Smoker, Dehydrate, and Keep Warm.
I’m a huge fan of my ThermoPro TempSpike 500FT Truly Wireless Meat Thermometer, and it’s now on sale for 40 percent off. While I’ve really started to nail down making a nice medium-rare steak, when I’m hosting friends and family, I’ve always had difficulty getting everyone’s temperature correct. With this, I don’t have to play the guessing game, as I just stick one of these convenient smart thermometers in each of their steaks and call it a day. If you’re planning on hosting or simply have trouble getting your red meat to the perfect temperature—and want a device that will stay connected to your phone as far away as 500 feet— this is a fantastic early Prime Day score.
We’re seeing plenty of discounts on camping gear, too. This durable yet cozy two-person Sundome Tent from Coleman is almost 30 percent off. With a 35-square-foot footprint, it’s relatively roomy for a two-person shelter. And the welded corners and inverted seams help prevent water from getting in. The extra bright Coleman LED Lantern is now 31 percent off, and the energy-efficient device will be a godsend on hiking and camping trips. It’s super bright and weather-resistant, while the long handle makes it easy to rig up on a bit of cord for area lighting. If you want to do some grilling on the go, the portable Coleman Gas Grill is also now 25 percent off.
Other can’t-miss deals include 40 percent off of this editor-approved Solo Stove Bonfire Backyard Bundle, a nice 44 percent off of the Anker Solix C1000 Portable Power Station, and 40 percent off the durable, outdoor-friendly Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker—another personal favorite of your’s truly for outdoor get-togethers.
