Kings – Growing more than cannabis

June 26, 2025

At King’s House of Fire, cannabis culture is more than just a product—it’s people, passion, and purpose. While many dispensaries have budtenders, we go a step further. At King’s, we proudly introduce Budologists—deeply trained cannabis professionals who elevate the experience for our customers through knowledge, empathy, and community care.

You’ll always find at least one Budologist on the floor, ready to answer your questions, share informed insights, and guide you through your cannabis journey with confidence and clarity. Today, we’re proud to spotlight the individuals behind the Budologist badge—our growing team of knowledgeable, approachable experts who represent the true spirit of King’s.

Zac Nichols aka “Zac” – From Animal Care to Plant Wisdom

With a background as a veterinary assistant, Zac has always had a heart for healing. His fascination with animals led to a deeper study of nature—and that curiosity brought him to cannabis. Zac has infused King’s with a unique perspective, particularly when it comes to CBD use for pets. “There’s a science behind this, as there is with other plants. Every plant has an essence,” says Zac Nichols.

Currently completing 120 hours of field training at Oaksterdam University, Zac is on the verge of officially joining our elite Budologist team. At 33 years old, Zac bridges the gap between animal care and plant medicine—an uncommon and powerful combination.

Wayne “Weezy” Dabbs (Submitted)

Wayne Dabbs aka “Weezy” – Full Circle with Family

Wayne, also 33, is a proud Peekskill High School graduate and lifelong friend of the King family. From growing up as neighbors to building a legacy together, Wayne says working at King’s is a “full-circle moment.”

With years of personal growing experience and firsthand knowledge of cannabis as a wellness tool, Wayne is a passionate advocate for plant medicine. “It helped me with anxiety, insomnia, and so much more. Plant medicine is real,” says Wayne Dabbs.

For Wayne, this work is deeper than cannabis—it’s community.

Antonio Woods aka “Tone” – The People’s Budologist

Another Peekskill High School graduate, 27-year-old Tone is known for his magnetic personality and strong customer connections. For him, customers aren’t just guests—they’re extended family. “Most of my friends now are over 60,” Tone laughs. “They introduce me to their kids, and we all joke about how we never saw this day coming.” Tone believes deeply in the intentional, personal effects of cannabis.

While King’s cannot provide medical advice, our Budologists like Tone are always happy to share how products made them feel—whether it helped them relax, focus, or sleep better.

Danny Santiago “aka” The Drifter (Supplied)

Danny Santiago aka “Drifter” – Wisdom, Security, and Growth

Danny, 50, is the elder statesman of the Budologist team. A retired police officer with over 20 years of service, Danny brings more than just experience—he brings protection, mentorship, and wisdom.

With a strong background in home cultivation, Danny has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the lifecycle of the cannabis plant—from seed to bloom. His presence is not just reassuring from a security standpoint, but also uplifting. He plays a big brother role on the team, often offering life experience and support to younger staff members.

Knowledge. Compassion. Culture.

At King’s House of Fire, our Budologists are more than cannabis specialists—they’re culture carriers. With a commitment to education, empathy, and excellence, they’re the heartbeat of everything we do.

Stop by and meet them. Whether it’s Zac, Wayne, Tone, or Danny—you’ll always leave King’s feeling like you’ve just talked to someone who gets it.

Because at King’s, we’re not just selling cannabis—we’re growing the community.
