In celebration of its 13th anniversary, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland held its annual Day of Service on Friday, June 6, with a focus on protecting and improving the local environment. The event brought together 100 team members for a day of volunteer work across several community organizations and nonprofits in the region.

The Cordish Companies’ property, located in Hanover and employing over 2,400 team members, has long prioritized community engagement. This year’s anniversary efforts centered on environmental stewardship, including activities such as weeding, planting, and clean-up projects.

Volunteers contributed their time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at four sites:

• Howard Community College’s Campus Community Garden
• Living Classrooms
• Quiet Waters Park
• Howard County Conservancy

Each location offered different activities based on its specific needs, allowing team members to make a targeted impact.
