GREENSBORO, N.C. — Amazon Prime members, did you see the discount offer to save $1 off every gallon of gas? The savings event runs from July 3, 2025, to July 6, 2025. 

To cash in on this deal, you’ll need to link your Amazon Prime account to the Earnify app, which is basically BP.  2 Wants To Know went through the process to see how it all works. 

I will say, between the back and forth of Amazon, getting a new app,  then linking the two together, it took a good five to 10 minutes to get everything linked up. You wouldn’t want to do it when you’re waiting to pump gas. 

The app shows you the closest BP (or Amoco) to you, but you can browse locations. 

A quick check of the prices at the pump at my BP was $2.79 for regular.

Don’t miss this: The app will ask you to pick the pump you’re on to unlock it, and then hold your phone close to the pump scanner. 

You’ll see you’re ready to do your rewards pump. A few minutes later, I had my receipt and my discount. 

Saving a dollar off a gallon of gas is a real savings, especially if you are going to fill up. 

It is a one-trip only to cash in, and the max is 35 gallons/$35  you can save. 

Amazon’s 11th Prime Day officially starts July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT (3:01 a.m. Eastern Time) and runs through July 11. 

In addition to 2025’s event being Amazon’s longest-ever Prime Day, there will also be a new feature called “Today’s Big Deals.” Starting at midnight Pacific on each day of the sale, there will be “themed daily drops” across top brands like Samsung, Kiehl’s, and Levi’s. 

Amazon’s announcement said those drops will feature “some of the most exciting deals of the event” and will only be available for a limited time, while supplies last. 

There will also be “deals dropping as often as every five minutes during select periods throughout the event,” Amazon said.
