COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A suspected gunman is dead following an early Monday morning shooting at a warehouse, according to Columbus police.

Officers responded to an “active shooter” call at Amazon’s newly opened delivery station in the 5800 block of Osceola Court shortly before 5 a.m., according to a police spokesperson.

The alleged shooter’s identity and a possible motive have not yet been released.

The spokesperson was not aware of any other injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
