Rochester medical dispensary now selling recreational cannabis

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A medical cannabis provider in Rochester has expanded its sales to more adults.
The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management recently announced that it has issued a medical cannabis combination business license to Green Goods, a Rochester medical dispensary located along Broadway Avenue near the restaurant Purple Goat.
Adults can now purchase cannabis products at the store legally without a medical card.
There are options to purchase cannabis flowers, vapes, edibles, and a range of other cannabis-based products and accessories.
Staff at the location says since the store started selling recreationally, business has been budding with more and new customers.
“I like how you can go to the tablet and place your order before, because sometimes you have to wait for people at the counter. So that part was nice where you can get in and out,” said D’Shawn Le’Velle, a customer from visiting Rochester.
The combination license also allows Green Goods to wholesale products to other state-licensed cannabis businesses.
Here in Olmsted County, no other business is selling recreational cannabis but will soon change as the county is in the process of issuing 14 retailer registrations.
Green Goods has eight locations across Minnesota that have also transitioned into medical and recreational sales.
