His visits highlight partnerships across Delaware, Washington, Arizona, and Idaho on farming, restoration, and clean energy initiatives.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin recently visited Delaware, Washington, Arizona, and Idaho to meet with state, tribal, and local leaders, as well as agricultural and energy stakeholders. In Delaware, he toured Perdue Farms’ wastewater facility and chicken operations, followed by a visit to FMC Corporation’s research headquarters to observe crop-protection changes. The discussions focused on balancing environmental standards with agricultural production and guaranteeing farmers have access to tools that protect public health and the environment.

In Washington, Administrator Zeldin visited Taylor Shellfish Farms and the Skokomish Estuary, where he met with tribal representatives involved in a large-scale restoration project. His trip concluded with participation in a memorial service in Arizona and a groundbreaking event in Idaho for the Oklo Aurora Powerhouse at Idaho National Laboratory, a project aimed at expanding clean nuclear energy. Across the visits, Zeldin highlighted collaborations between federal agencies, state and local governments, tribal partners, and private industry to address environmental challenges while supporting economic development.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for Administrator Zeldin as he oversees the enforcement of environmental regulations.
  • For the administrator and EPA officials as they review the environmental risks and benefits of new energy, agricultural, and manufacturing projects.
