And Ross, I know you’re watching this situation closely towards the end of the week, um the vote on Elon Musk’s pay package.
00:06 Ross
Yeah, the trillion dollar day is coming up on Thursday is the day of the general meeting. so we’ll hear about the results then. You know, uh Tesla chair Robin Denholm has been out drumming up votes for Elon’s pay package which is, you know, a little unusual here, claiming that shareholders need to reward and motivate Elon to build things like AI at Tesla like Dan mentioned the big AI play, right?
00:23 Ross
So, you know, so or Elon says he might take his ball and go home. Uh the question is should shareholders believe that? And I think there could be, you know, uh maybe there’s a better way to get control of Tesla without what could be a trillion dollar pay package. That’s the big question here. Uh I want to note other a few other items up for vote. Uh three board members, Ira Ehrenpreis, Joe Gebbia, and Kathleen Wilson Thompson are also up for vote. And also XAI investment. Elon has said that he wanted to put that to the to the board members.
00:46 Ross
A shareholder has uh submitted a proposal. So the board is not making a recommendation, but there could be uh some so some sort of investment potential made there between Tesla and XAI.

And we’ll be looking ahead to all of these events over the course of the week and uh Jen’s interview coming up in just about an hour.
