A cannabis farm has been discovered in a block of flats in Birmingham after emergency services were called to a fire.

Police said they were called to Coniston Crescent before 06:30 GMT on Monday to assist fire crews.

While carrying out searches, officers said a cannabis farm containing 16 plants was found inside and the farm was shut down.
