SAVE 39%: As of Feb. 16, you can get the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV 4-Series for $279.99, down from $459.99, at Amazon. That’s a 39% discount or $180 savings. It’s also the lowest price we’ve seen on this TV.

Presidents’ Day sales are famous for discounting two specific things: mattresses and TVs. Honestly, I’d argue the deals on these items are often better now than on Black Friday, and Amazon is leaning hard into the trend by slashing prices on its own tech.

If you’re looking to replace an aging living room TV or just want a smart hub that doubles as a display, there are tons of options right now. As of Feb. 16, you can get the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV 4-Series for $279.99, down from $459.99, at Amazon. That’s a 39% discount of $180.

The 4-Series offers a 4K UHD picture with HDR10+ support, meaning your movies and shows will look significantly more vibrant than on standard HD screens. You’ll also get an Alexa Voice Remote to access apps just by asking. If you’re a fan of “The Frame” aesthetic, this TV features an “Ambient Experience” that transforms the black display into artwork or photos when it’s idle.

If $280 is still a stretch (totally get it!), I actually bought the Insignia 55-inch Class F50 Series for $179.99 Friday, which IMO was a total steal. I even grabbed a matching soundbar for just $35. I bought them both at Best Buy, but Amazon is matching most of these prices, so you can shop wherever is most convenient.
