Amazon Teething Toy Poses Choking Risk
January 23, 2026
(WVVA) – A teething toy you might have purchased on Amazon is being recalled right now, and parents need to know about it. The Yetonamr Pull String Teething Toy poses a serious choking hazard, and there have already been 32 choking incidents reported.
Here’s what happened: the toy’s silicone pull strings are smaller than they should be, which means they can get stuck in a child’s throat.
What You Need to Know
The toy is an off-white disc with either a red or blue ball in the middle and six colorful silicone tentacle strings. It has “Model no. 688-59” on the packaging. About 6,800 of these toys were sold on Amazon between June and October 2025 for around $10 to $16.
