Northwood University hosts Full Tank Automotive Car Show

FLINT, Mich. — Northwood University hosted its Full Tank Automotive Car Show, allowing students to get up close with some of their favorite cars.

The car show is part of the university’s five-day high school summer camp.

The camp also features hands-on workshops, field trips, team challenges, along with opportunities to connect with Northwood University faculty, students and automotive industry professionals.

Student Director Katrina Ness said the camp benefits both the high school participants and current university students.

“It’s great to just give these kids the opportunity to not only network and get experiences with, you know, industry professionals within the automotive space. See a lot of cool cars. But it’s also great to just have for the students as well,” Ness said.

Northwood University’s next car show will be its International Auto Show on Sept. 18.
