Alphabet Stock Poised to Extend Gains; Nvidia Eyes More Losses
Facebook parent Meta Platforms is in talks to use Google-made AI chips, The Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday. The discussions about a deal, which could eat in Nvidia’s market dominance, were previously reported by the Information.
Shares of Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL, GOOG) rose more than 1% in premarket trading.
Nvidia (NVDA) and rival chip maker AMD (AMD) both fell more than 1% ahead of the open.
Meta (META) shares were little changed.
