Amazon (AMZN.US) announced on Tuesday the launch of a new ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, in the UAE, capable of delivering groceries, cosmetics, electronics, and other household items within 15 minutes or less.

The company noted that orders can be placed around the clock and are fulfilled through micro-fulfillment centers or small warehouses located within UAE communities, with some locations receiving deliveries in as little as six minutes.
