Amazon beginning crackdown on some Prime accounts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Here is a look at Tuesday’s business headlines with Jane King, who has the latest on decreasing gas prices and Amazon ending Prime delivery for Prime invitees.
Across most of the country, gas prices are trending lower to end the month of September despite an active week in the tropics, according to AAA.
The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.14, down four cents from last Monday.
One year ago, the price was $3.22.
Triple says the average price in Indiana right now is $3.09, down $3.22.
Farmers will need government relief this year after the trade war choked off access to key markets.
Senator John Thune’s comment comes after President Trump made a similar promise earlier in the week.
China has stopped buying U.S. soybeans, depriving American farmers of their largest export market.
YouTube will pay $24.5 million to settle a lawsuit brought by President Trump.
The lawsuit stems from when YouTube suspended president trump’s account after the 2021 attack and protest at the U.S. Capitol.
Previously X and Meta have paid millions to settle lawsuits related to the presidents ban on the social media platforms in 2021.
Amazon’s crackdown on some prime accounts begins this week.
Amazon quietly announced the discontinuation of the Prime invitee program on its customer service site in early September.
The program is ending on Wednesday, at which point Prime invitees will lose access to Prime delivery.
The 16-year-old program that allowed members to share free shipping benefits.
Thirty-one percent of Americans surveyed said there’s no longer a badge of honor or admirable quality to people showing up to work ill, coughing or “powering through.”
Just a quarter of Americans strongly believe it would impress bosses or superiors.
The survey conducted by Talker Research on behalf of ZipFizz also found that while 21% of people have attended work or a social gathering when ill in the last 12 months, the vast majority feel concerned about their own well-being when others come to work visibly sick.
