Amazon (AMZN, Financials) introduced a new AI-powered Business Assistant to help corporate buyers identify savings and make smarter purchasing decisions. The announcement came at the company’s Amazon Business Reshape conference in Seattle.

The assistant, free for U.S. Amazon Business users, offers tailored recommendations based on purchase history and account preferences. It’s part of Amazon’s broader push into enterprise AI through its Bedrock platform.

Amazon also unveiled Savings Insights for Business Prime members and Spend Anomaly Monitoring to flag irregular purchases. In partnership with AWS and Deloitte, the company plans to launch AI tools in 2026 to help manufacturers and utilities predict supply chain and grid disruptions.

Amazon Business now serves over 8 million organizations, including 97 of the Fortune 100, and generates about $35 billion in annualized gross sales roughly 5% of Amazon’s total revenue.
