Amazon Luna is adding EA games including ‘Jedi: Survivor,’ expands to more countries

March 27, 2025

As the grave of Google Stadia continues to draw mockery, Amazon’s cloud gaming service Luna is still thriving, with a new announcement this week bringing new regions online and also expanding available games with a deal with EA that includes Star Wars titles and more.

Amazon Luna has been in operation for quite a while now, but it’s been a bit since there have been any big announcements. Rather, there have only been some worries about the platform’s future as a VP at Amazon voiced how Luna didn’t “gain signification traction” similar to Stadia. But, apparently, things are still going well enough to continue.

In an announcement today, Amazon Luna has confirmed two new expansions.

That starts with a “multi-year” deal with EA which will see Amazon Luna adding Dead Space and the two “Star Wars Jedi” titles, Fallen Order and Survivor. “More games” are said to be coming soon, and EA titles are available on all platforms where Amazon Luna is streaming.

More of EA’s popular franchises, including select games from the EA SPORTS portfolio, will join the Luna library over the coming months, allowing players more ways to play their favorite EA games on their preferred devices—including Fire TV, Fire Tablets, PC, Mac, iOS and Android mobile devices and select smart TVs from Samsung & LG—wherever Luna is available. Beyond that, Amazon Luna is expanding to a few more countries. Bringing its total up to 14 regions, Luna is available starting today in Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Players in these countries will also get Prime Gaming benefits via Luna, with free games currently including WRC Generations, Overcooked! 2, Spitlings, The Jackbox Party Pack 3, and Strange Horticulture through March 31. The Luna Controller will be discounted in these regions to  €44.99, though the Controller won’t land in Portugal until “later this year.”
