Amazon opens last-mile delivery facility in Kalispell

March 7, 2026

Amazon has opened a delivery station in South Kalispell.

The new 28,000-square-foot site is at 125 United Dr. The last-mile facility helps in the last mile of Amazon’s fulfillment process, according to the E-commerce company.

Packages are transported to delivery stations from Amazon fulfillment and sortation centers and then employees process customer packages for last-mile delivery.
“Amazon’s investment in Kalispell represents a milestone for Montana and the Flathead Valley,” said Tareq Wafaie, Amazon’s manager of economic development policy in Montana, in a release. “This new delivery station creates flexible jobs for local residents while bringing faster, more reliable delivery service to customers in the area. We’re grateful for our partnership with the city and local development authority. We’re proud to serve customers in the Kalispell area and have a positive impact on the community and local economy.”

Most employees in customer fulfillment and transportation earn between $17 and $28 per hour, according to Amazon.

A similar last-mile facility opened in Great Falls in December. That facility is 35,000 square feet. Amazon delivery stations are also located in Missoula, Billings, Belgrade and Butte.

Since 2010, the company says it has created more than 500 full- and part-time jobs in Montana and invested more than $160 million across the state, including infrastructure and employee compensation.
