Amazon Prime Day 2025: Everything you need to know, early deals to shop and more
June 4, 2025
When you think of iconic comebacks, what comes to mind? Michael Jordan’s triumphant 1995 return to basketball, perhaps? Or maybe Pamela Anderson’s recent rise to celebrated-actress status? Here’s one that might not be on your radar (yet): Everyone’s favorite yearly deals extravaganza, Amazon Prime Day, is officially back. (Cue: confetti emoji.) The online retail giant announced that its much-anticipated savings event, Amazon Prime Day 2025, is slated for sometime in July, though exact dates have yet to be revealed (you’ll be the first we share ’em with once they are). According to Amazon, this splashy sale promises “deep discounts across more than 35 categories including electronics, kitchen, beauty and apparel.” In short, there’s a little — or a lot — of something for everyone.
Now, if this will be your first Prime Day rodeo, here are some basics to keep in mind: The majority of the best Prime Day deals are, as the name implies, exclusively for Prime members. That means you’ll need an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of the steepest markdowns and score the lowest prices. Signing up is easy, and you can even opt for a free 30-day trial before committing to a plan. After that, you’ll be charged $14.99 per month, which grants you access to dedicated deals, fast and free shipping, Prime streaming content and more.
As mentioned, our trusty team of shopping experts will be providing more updates as it gets closer, and in the meantime? If the prospect of scoring fabulous prices on home essentials, tech gear and more excites you, you don’t have to wait until next month. We’ve spied some stellar on-sale gems at Amazon already — after all, the early bird gets the worm…
Ah, yes, the coveted Stanley cup. These bad boys rarely go on sale (they don’t really need to), but this sought-after sipper happens to be marked down to a record low. It’s got a built-in straw and keeps cold drinks cold for up to nine hours (40 hours if they’re iced). Plus, its tapered bottom will fit right in your car’s cup holder. Think of it as your go-to summer 2025 accessory — it’ll keep you hydrated all season and beyond.

This is the latest version of this iPad, so the fact that it’s already on sale makes this a deal worth considering. According to Yahoo Senior Deals Writer Chris McGraw, who specializes in all things tech, “It’s an ultra-light, thin tablet that’s powerful enough to replace your laptop for most tasks but slips into your bag without a second thought. With a large 11-inch Liquid Retina display, you’re swiping and scrolling in vibrant color and sharpness that makes any screen that came before feel like an old tube TV.
“If you’ve got a habit of toggling between a dozen apps, streaming videos and replying to messages at once, you’re in for a treat. This iPad is ready to keep up with whatever you throw its way. And if you’re into gaming, the graphics capabilities mean you can play even demanding games without dropping a frame.”
These K-beauty bestsellers have taken social media by storm thanks to their exfoliating and pore-minimizing properties. They contain ingredients like white willow bark, citric acid and botanical extracts to target enlarged pores, blackheads, whiteheads and excess oil, which promotes a smoother, more even-looking complexion. At over 50% off, they’re down to their best price in months.
Scoring a new MacBook on sale is always a win, and this price is one of the lowest this model has ever been marked down to. According to McGraw, “This version features the latest generation M4 chip, meaning you’ll get a much more powerful computer with everything else you love about the MacBook Air, including its outstanding 18-hour battery life and gorgeous 13.6-inch screen.”
Whether you’re stowing away shorts and sundresses in the winter or puffer coats and comforters in the summer, these roomy storage bags will keep everything organized from season to season. Each one has an impressive 60-liter capacity, along with see-through front panels so you won’t forget what you stashed in them. This is as low as I’ve ever seen this set on sale for.

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming tube: This is among the most sought-after lipsticks of all time. It’s moisturizing, universally flattering and happens to be on rare sale. But you’ll want to act fast; this beloved beauty staple often sells out quickly.
Yahoo readers and Amazon shoppers alike can’t get enough of these supremely comfortable shorts, which feature an adjustable drawstring waist and, veryconveniently, pockets. They’re made from a soft cotton blend (the black, navy and light gray options are 100% cotton!), and reviewers of all ages have been singing their praises. They’ve rarely dipped lower than this all year.
Never fight with your family members over power outlets again. This electrifying gadget boasts five AC outlets and four USB ports, enough for everyone to charge their devices at once. Oh, and it’s so much sleeker than having a power strip on your floor (and there’s no way you’ll trip over it).
No, it’s not a massive discount, but I’ve yet to see this Amazon favorite on sale for less (it’s retailed for as much as $20 in the past).

RHOBH star Kyle Richards gives this pack two thumbs (toes?) up. “These are great, these no-show socks. They come in a package of six!” she says during an Amazon Live. She admits that when her “socks are showing,” her friends make fun of her look — “[It’s] a dorky vibe,” she laughs. “The aesthetic is not good, guys, if you’re wearing a sock with your workout shoes … They shouldn’t show!” At 50% off, this is as low as they get.
