Amazon recall: Update as toxic warning issued for items sold nationwide
December 14, 2025
Several products sold on Amazon nationally were recalled Thursday for the dangers they can pose to households and children.
The recalls were announced by the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission.
The items under recall include:
- YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats sold on Amazon by BenTalk; 8,960 bath seats were recalled for instability and potential to tip over creating the risk of drowning or injury. The bath seats were sold online from May 2024 through October 2025.
- Uuoeebb Infant Walkers sold on Amazon by BaoD; 2,650 units were recalled because the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and do not stop at the edge of a step. The walkers were also found to have large leg openings that posed a risk of injury or death if a child’s head became stuck. The walkers were sold from December 2024 through September 2025.
- SKCAIHT Children’s Little Mermaid Costumes sold on Amazon by SKCAIHT Direct; about 1,300 costumes were recalled for having a banned phthalate that is toxic to children if consumed. They were sold on Amazon from March 2022 through July 2025.
No injuries have been reported for any of the products mentioned.
Consumers are advised to stop using and take the recalled products away from children immediately.
To obtain a refund, consumers should send photos of the disassembled products with “recall” labels to the respective retailers.
