Amazon’s regularly $100 Fire HD 8 tablet drops to $65 today, plus more from $60

April 14, 2025

Alongside some discounts on its “made for Alexa+” smart speakers and displays, Amazon has also now brought back a series of the spring sale prices on its already affordable Fire tablet lineup. One standout here is the latest model Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet that is now starting down at $64.99 shipped, some 35% under the usual $100 list price. Details and additional Fire tablet deals await below.

Amazon’s latest model 8-inch Fire tablet we are featuring up top here debuted last fall at $100 and is now sitting at the second-lowest price we have tracked to date – it dropped to $55 for Black Friday last year.

A complete look at the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet, of course, is sitting over in our launch coverage, but let’s hit on some highlights while we are at it right now. Alongside double the RAM, it also now delivers an upgraded 5MP rear-facing camera for all your video and photography needs as well as longer battery life – “with up to 13 hours of battery life, you can enjoy your favorite movies, shows, or games at home or on-the-go without worrying about running out of power.”
