Arrest made after cannabis grow found in old casino

A person has been arrested after a large cannabis grow was discovered inside a former casino.

Northamptonshire Police said a warrant was carried out at about 09:00 GMT at an old casino building in Commercial Street in Northampton.

The force said a large cannabis grow was discovered across multiple floors.

A police spokeswoman said: “One arrest has been made and officers are now working to clear the location and make the building safe.”
