Belushi’s Farm partners with C4 to bring premium cannabis and passion for education to Missouri
Jim Belushi, the founder of Belushi’s Farm, has spent the last decade building his cannabis brand.
Belushi’s name has been synonymous with comedy and entertainment for more than 40 years, but in recent years, it has also become a weight-bearing brand in cannabis.
A seasoned performer with a career spanning television, film, and music, Belushi is a modern-day renaissance man. From his early years at Second City to his breakout role on Saturday Night Live, through critically acclaimed films, and starring roles on Broadway, Belushi’s career as a comedian and actor is well documented. Beyond acting, Belushi is a renowned musician, a composer, a director, an author, and an advocate. But his work in cannabis could be his most impactful.
Belushi’s Farm, rooted on 93 acres along the Rogue River in Southern Oregon, represents his most personal venture.
Having suffered the tragic loss of his brother, John, to an overdose, Jim Belushi has become a passionate educator about the healing power of cannabis.
His farm and his involvement in the cannabis industry are a testament to his belief in the plant’s ability to enhance joy in life.
Belushi’s passion for cannabis and its medicinal properties drive both the ethos and philosophy of the brand and its partnerships. His cannabis journey has always been more than just a business venture—it’s about changing perceptions of the plant and making life more enjoyable along the way.
In early 2025, Belushi brought his Belushi’s Farm and the iconic Blues Brothers brands and genetics to Missouri, through a partnership with Carroll County Cannabis Company (C4). While some might have expected the Belushi’s Farm brand to align with one of the state’s larger cultivators, the commitment to craft cannabis and sustainable cultivation practices at C4 makes it the ideal partner. Known for its focus on high-quality, small-batch cannabis, the partnership with C4 brings together two companies passionate about the cannabis plant and driven by the wonders of the cannabis plant.
Greenway recently spoke to Jim Belushi about the collaboration, his goals, and what Missouri can expect from Belushi’s Farm as it enters the market.
What does this partnership with C4 mean for Belushi’s Farm and Blues Brothers?
“We don’t just jump into a market—we dance our way in, harmonica in hand. When we partner up, it’s because we’ve found folks who not only grow top-shelf flower and craft quality products, but know how to enjoy the ride while bringing the power of this plant to the people. The crew at C4 checks every box—great product, great people, and they know how to have a little fun along the way. We couldn’t be more excited to light up Missouri together.”
How did the collaboration between Belushi’s Farm and C4 come about?
“This industry runs on good people and great introductions—it’s like a jam session where the right players just find each other. Some mutual friends connected us with the C4 team, and right away, we knew these guys were the real deal. They’re passionate, they know their craft, and they share our belief in the power of this plant. One conversation led to another, and before you know it, we’re making magic together in Missouri.”
What are your goals for this partnership, both in the short term and over the long haul?
“Short term? Get the good stuff out there—consistent, high-quality medicine in all kinds of form factors for the people who need it. Long term? Keep doing that, but bigger, better, and with a whole lot of fun along the way. We want to educate, elevate, and maybe crack a few jokes while we’re at it. Because at the end of the day, cannabis is about healing, community, and a little bit of joy—and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to Missouri with C4.”
Are there any exclusive cultivars or signature products being introduced to Missouri as part of this collaboration?
“Oh, you better believe it! We’ve got a rock-solid lineup of genetics that we bring to every state we operate in—Missouri’s getting the good stuff. We’re talking premium flower and pre-rolls from our diverse range of cultivars, plus some real special treats. Our ice-washed temple ball hash? Smooth and classic. Live rosin vapes? Pure and powerful. And our unique edibles? Let’s just say, they’re gonna make Missouri very happy. We can’t wait to see these products lighting up shelves across the state!”
What key qualities or characteristics define Belushi’s Farm and Blues Brothers products?
“Our secret sauce? It’s all in the genetics. Great cannabis starts with great cultivars, and we’ve spent years dialing in some of the best. Whether it’s flower, pre-rolls, hash, or edibles, every product in this launch comes from top-tier genetics that we’ve tested and trusted across 17 states. Missouri’s getting a taste of something special!”
The initial launch involved meet and greets and promotional stops at select locations around Kansas City, do you have anything special planned for 2025 in the Missouri market?
“Oh, you know we’ve always got something up our sleeve. We’re cooking up something special for Missouri, but you’ll have to stay tuned. Just know this: wherever there’s good cannabis and good people, you’ll probably find me there!”
With plant medicine and education being a large part of the brand story, how is Belushi’s Farm planning to help educate consumers about the new products and the story behind your brands?
“Education is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’ve gone all-in with Growing Belushi—three seasons of behind-the-scenes action, available on Max and Discovery+, where we mix plant medicine with a little bit of edutainment. But it doesn’t stop there. We’ve got a whole toolkit: monthly newsletters, blogs, social media channels, live events, and a brand ambassador who’s out there spreading the word. We’re all about getting people informed, inspired, and excited about what we’re doing.”
What value does C4 being a certified Clean Green grower and manufacturer bring to your partnership and to the Belushi’s farm and Blues Borthers brands?
“Being a certified Clean Green grower and manufacturer is a game-changer. At Belushi’s Farm, we’re all about quality, and C4’s commitment to organic, eco-friendly practices lines up perfectly with our values. We’re an Oregon farm, and we take that green thumb seriously—so when we partner with C4, we know we’re teaming up with folks who share that same dedication to quality products. It’s like finding a partner who doesn’t just play the same game—they’re playing at the same level.”
Belushi’s Farm’s array of high-quality products and premium flower can be found now in retail locations across the Show-Me State.
