June 10, 2025

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – On Tuesday, cannabis experts weigh in on a new bill to update Vermont’s legal weed policy.

Bill H.321 is currently on the governor’s desk.

It updates some of the state’s cannabis policy and sales regulations 3 years after it was legalized. Those updates range from police response to illegal possession to creating a receivership in case a store owner dies.

The Vermont Cannabis Equity Coalition will discuss the bill and what it means for Vermont growers and sellers at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
