Law firm Cooper Levenson said Oct. 3 that Brittany Bonetti has been named chair of its Cannabis Industry Practice Group.
Bonetti, a partner based in the firm’s Atlantic City and Cherry Hill offices, has been a member of Cooper Levenson’s Cannabis Industry Practice Group since its inception.
In her new role as chair, Bonetti will lead Cooper Levenson’s efforts to provide strategic legal counsel to cannabis businesses, including retailers, manufacturers, and cultivators, as well as ancillary businesses. She will also continue the firm’s work advising businesses in the intoxicating hemp industry. Bonetti will remain a member of the firm’s health care and business law departments.
“Brittany’s deep understanding of complex regulatory environments and her experience advising clients on business, health care, and compliance matters make her exceptionally well-suited to lead our Cannabis Industry Practice Group,” said firm Health Care Department Chair and Executive Committee Member Jill Ojserkis. “Her leadership will help our clients navigate the evolving cannabis market with confidence and clarity.”
Bonetti has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Cannabis and Psychedelic Law Special Committee since its formation, serves on its executive committee, and chairs its Municipal Law Section. She is a frequent lecturer and author on cannabis and health-law topics. Bonetti is the recipient of numerous professional recognitions and awards.
Cooper Levenson’s Cannabis Industry Practice Group provides legal services to businesses operating in the medicinal and adult-use cannabis markets.
