Bookmark This Page: We’re Predicting Some of the Top Amazon October Prime Day Deals
September 29, 2025
In case you haven’t heard, there’s another big Prime Day sale right around the corner. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event is happening on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8!
And just like in years past, we’re expecting there to be plenty of can’t-miss deals on items in every category, from tech to beauty. In years past, we’ve seen impressive discounts on top items like Apple AirPods, hot holiday toys, Color Wow hair products and so much more.
We’ve been covering Prime Day since the start, so we have a pretty good idea of the types of deals you’ll be able to find during the big sales event. And to help make sure you’re fully prepared, we’re sharing just some of the items that we think will be on sale during October Prime Day. That way, you’ll know all the best deals and be able to shop them right when the event starts (just in case they’re so good, they sell out).
Keep reading for everything we expect (and hope) will be on sale during Prime Big Deal Days.
Products we predict will be on sale for Amazon Prime Day
Prime Big Deal Days is a great opportunity to stock up on household essentials. During the summer Prime event, I grabbed these cleaning wipes while they were on sale, and if there’s a similar deal this time around, I plan to do the same. I love them because they’re designed to be safe for cleaning around pets.
Amazon devices are usually heavily marked down during these events, and you can already score this Fire TV Stick for nearly 50% off! It’s Alexa-enabled, so you can use your voice to find your next watch.
Speaking of essentials, in the past, we’ve seen deals on bulk snacks and drinks, so it’s a great opportunity to stock your cabinets. “I’m definitely going to be stocking up on Celsius for my caffeine fix. And I don’t think I’ll be the only one — I always see it topping the bestsellers charts during Prime Day,” shares production associate Audrey Ekman.
In the past, we’ve seen a lot of deals on KitchenAid essentials, from small must-haves like oven mitts to their beloved stand mixers. Deals editor Rebecca Brown is hoping that this juice press will be at an even deeper discount next week. “I’ve been eying this lemon juicer for a long time. Someone I follow on Instagram uses it daily to whip up salads and dinners and it looks so much less messy than a traditional one,” she shares.
We typically find quite a few deals on portable chargers. And while this one is already on sale, associate editor Sierra Hoeger is hoping to score it for a deeper discount. “I’m trying to find a non-bulky, yet reliable option for when I run a marathon so my phone doesn’t die during the race!”
“As somebody who’s been deeply ingrained in holiday shopping coverage for a half-decade, there tends to be a lot of solid sales on all kinds of toys on your kid’s wishlists (including some that have ended up on a Hot Holiday List or two),” says deputy managing editor Jess Bender. “For me personally, I’m hoping to expand on my Lego Botanical display on my living room mantel — this wildflower bouquet is something I’ve been eyeing for a really long time and I’d love to have an excuse to finally commit to buying it!”
Social media video producer Anita Chomenko bought the Colgate Optic White Kit during the July Prime Day sale. Similar whitening products are typically on sale, so she’s planning on stocking up on replacement whitening pens next week. If you don’t yet have a kit, it may be worth adding this one to your wishlist now.
“I’m eager to swap out my current Tupperware for a plastic-free alternative. OXO’s products are really well made, long-lasting and easy to care for, so I’m really hoping this 16-piece set is on sale during Prime Big Deal Days, so I can replace my plasticware in one fell swoop,” Bender says.
Bender calls her previous Prime Day purchase, a Waterpik, “the best decision I made for my oral health.” While it’s currently on sale, we’re hoping there’s an even deeper discount during the event (she scored hers for 50% off), so you too can reap the benefits.
During big Prime sales, we often see discounts on brands that rarely offer deals, like Sunday Riley. This exfoliating serum is a fan-favorite product from the brand and is said to help brighten the appearance of dark spots, clarify the skin and more.
Big sales events, like Amazon’s fall Prime Day, often bring discounts on Apple’s AirPods. The editor-approved AirPods 4 feature noise cancellation and high-quality sound that make them perfect for listening to music, streaming videos, making calls and more.
When scanning for deals, editor Vivien Moon says that she often sees top vacuums on sale. This one is already nearly 60% off ahead of the event. It self-empties into its base, so you can set it up to clean daily and then not think of it again until you have to empty the trash back 60 days later.

How we chose
We used our years of experience covering Amazon Prime sales to share the products that we typically see discounted during events like the upcoming Prime Big Deal Days sale.
During the sale, the Shop TODAY team combs through hundreds of thousands of deals. We choose products based on expert recommendations from previous reporting on Shop TODAY and staff-tested award winners.
We also consider factors like a high average rating (of over four stars), the amount of verified shopper ratings (over 1,000) and specific user feedback. From there, we fact-check each deal through price trackers like CamelCamelCamel to ensure that they’re at their lowest price in at least three months (or, in some instances, their lowest price ever).
