NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Boring Company is digging the Music City Loop to take passengers in Tesla rideshares from Nashville International Airport to Downtown underground with residential-specific stops, as we learned Tuesday.
Elon Musk’s Boring Company posted on Elon Musk’s X that three residential towers will have a stop accessible via building elevators for residents to get to the airport in around nine minutes, or downtown in just a couple minutes.
The apartment and condo buildings are on Church Street:
- Paramount Nashville
- Alcove Apartments
- Prime Condos
The Music City Loop is a privately funded project, but state efforts to create an oversight board would cost taxpayers.
Pushback surrounds safety concerns and stability questions digging through the hard rock under roads and buildings.
