Cannabis-use disorder linked to brain changes, studies show

MADISON, Wis. — Recent research suggests that three in 10 cannabis users will develop cannabis-use disorder, which is defined as the inability to stop using cannabis despite causing health and social problems.

Two new studies have raised alarms about how cannabis-use disorder is linked to changes in the brain. Dr. Zorba Paster discussed this research on News 3 Now Live at Four on Thursday.
